Geneva, May 25th 2011

As a partner company of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), Baume & Mercier was delighted to award a Hampton watch as the Public Prize at the ceremony held in Lausanne on May 25th 2011 to crown the “True Look at Fakes” short-movie competition launched by the FHH.

Organized in cooperation with young students from ECAL (Lausanne University of Art and Design), this vast operation served to raise public awareness regarding the negative consequences of the scourge represented by the counterfeit trade.

Through giving a timepiece to one of these young people, Baume & Mercier wished to show its solidarity with the fight against fakes which the FHH considers as one of its top priorities.
