Baume & Mercier celebrates Women in Zurich Tuesday, August 24th 2010: as part of its 180th anniversary celebrations, the watchmaking Maison Baume & Mercier held a “ladies only” private evening in the magnificent setting of the Seerose restaurant. Elegant women from the Zurich area as well as a number of VIPs admired a runway show with models dressed by the Coast and Bylox boutiques and wearing a selection of Baume & Mercier ladies’ watches. For these very special guests, Baume & Mercier CEO Alain Zimmerman had assembled an exceptional array of selected historical models – including the “Baguette” Art Deco, “Marquise”, Galaxie and the Catwalk – in a glowing tribute to 90 years of the brand’s close relationship with women. This Baume & Mercier rendezvous, pervaded by a definite sense of style and the joy of getting together with kindred spirits, set the tone for a lively new season.
