Well known in communication fields for his editorial and advertising work, this photographer cannot be ignored today. In April he was the man behind the cover of Exel magazine as well as that of Bilan's "Watch" supplement, which also devoted a double page to him. Bon Génie entrusted its advertising campaign to him. He specialised in photographing characters undoubtedly because his interest in others fills his photos with an emotion-tinged aestheticism.



Marc Ninghetto has developed a personal work alongside his professional career, which today leads him to synthesise work from the past few years in the "Reloaded" exhibition. A name that refers to photographers with the palimpsest as the main theme: over a period of several years the photographer captured poster images, stuck on top of one another, torn, forming layers then mixed them with images of faces and bodies, revealing details captured through the photographer's eyes and which tell us a story. From the urban sensitivity of his beginnings, Marc Ninghetto has preserved a graphical eye that has been added to over the years with the softness of a look that integrates the human element, whose presence shows through in each image.



Marc Ninghetto, 35 years old, is a graduate of the School of Applied Arts in Vevey and then was Dominique Issermann's main assistant in Paris for several years before opening his studio in Geneva in 2000. He has presented several personal and collective exhibitions in Geneva since 2001.
