Baume & Mercier celebrates the Chinese New Year, which will begin on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The Year of the Fire Horse – this year’s zodiac sign – has inspired an exclusive edition of the Clifton collection (Clifton 10839), limited to 100 timepieces, which will become available at the end of November. Symbolizing freedom and energy, a majestic horse appears to gallop along the wide date aperture at 6 o’clock, replacing the even-numbered days. It brings momentum to the Arabic numerals and Chinese characters representing the odd-numbered days. Gold adds a warm glow to the details on the dial and creates a harmonious color contrast, like the flamboyant red that brightens the back of the strap.
